Hong Kong Trip: Part 2: Day 2 (15 july 2006) (Part 1)

Ok... Very good. No photos to recall my memory as we only started taking picture when we arrived at Ocean Park.

I supposed we woke up at about 9 plus on the second day, as we are going to have our breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. It's free! I think I didn't mention that breakfast during the stay is F-O-C at the hotel! It was intercontinental buffet. The food available there is quite standard. I think we had scrambled egg, bacon, ham, cereal, baked beans, orange juice, coffee.

After breakfast we head back to hotel to the hotel to change. Then we proceed to board the train to Admiralty station (Not the same as the SG) to change to a direct bus that will bring us to Ocean Park. It's like our first time boarding the HK bus. Very comfortable. They also have TV mobile, but theirs like a lot more stable. Most of their advertisement are on I Not Stupid Too, which is like a very old SG-produced movie.

Upon arriving, we went to buy our tickets. We used the discount coupon which we had taken at the airport and our tickets were like 10% cheaper. When we took the tickets, there are three different designs. As this is my second time visiting here, I obviously do not want the same design as what I have taken previously, so I get to choose first. Hahaz...

The first thing we do when we were inside was to take the map. Being a bit scare to get lost, all of us had a map each. While we were trying to locate ourselves, we took the first pic of the day, which is the photo of some flamingoes. As the place is very big, it is divided into upper level and lower level. All along, I thought the entrance we entered was the lower level until I saw the Mine Train.

Sidetrack a bit. I nearly lost the top part of the entry as I pressed back. Phew!

Seeing the Mine Train reminds me of what happened 5 years ago. Suheng, Miao Xin, Ronnie, Eelin, Wuling, Jasmine, Kai Si, Liyu, David, Feijun, Junliang and me went to Hong Kong for the Geography Study Trip. I think it is also during June, but I cannot remember the exact date. All of us also went to Ocean Park during the trip. I still can remember the Mine Train incident. Suheng, Miaoxin and me went to took the Mine Train together. As the Mine Train is all about speed and inertia, I feel a sharp pain at a very vital part of my body. And while I was holding on to the painful position, the moment was captured on camera and it is still with me.

Coming back to the present. I eagerly pulled the both of them to go and sit the train together. Both of them were very scare, and as we get nearer to the queue, we can hear others' scream of excitement and that makes the three of us more frighten. But very determined to sit this ride again, I make sure the two of them did not escape away from the queue. The bad thing is the seats are double seating. So one of us had to seat alone. The two of them immediately say, "Since you want us to sit, then you sit alone." Kaoz... I also very scare what. No choice. So i sit alone while the two of them sit alone. The ride is super thrilling. The way the fear was built up and the adrenaline rush.

Through out the whole ride, our dear Linda's eyes were closed. Haha. So lousy. After the ride, both of them had to go toilet. Hahaz. Then I went to the stall where they sell photo of the moment captured during the ride. But too bad the camera was down so I could not see Linda's pathetic face. =x
