I think I lost count of the times I went to Genting after the previous post. Please call me an uncle the next time you see me. I think I am more active than those uncle.

I think I went there 4 times for the past 6 months. That's like average twice every 3 months. I think I have tried every method of reaching the mountain top except for helicopter. But surprisingly, I have yet to see any helicopter around the mountain. I think must be not enough trips.

I have drove up from SG, JB, sit plane to KL and drove up, took bus from SG, took bus from KL. I think I can lead the way up with my eyes close. I think the most comfortable way is to sit plane to KL. No need to squeeze on a seat for more than 4hrs, can buy giant mentoes, can sit plane, got free drinks, peanuts, can buy DFS (from malaysia), no need to alight at some shops which you don't feel like spending your money.

Wonder before my next post, will I be up there again...

The next day, we woke up quite early cause we plan to go for breakfast. Everyone was like thinking whether we should bath or not, then who go to wash-up 1st, cause all of us were very lazy and wanted to sleep longer.

When Gary woke up, he seems like he was having a bad flu. The reason he gave was because i took up a lot space when I sleep and he was unable to grab hold of the blanket and also because Linda was affecting his sleep.

When all of us were ready, we went to see if Su Heng and Emily wants to join us, but Su Heng told us Emily was still sleeping and will be coming to join us later. So the 4 of us went down to have some porridge. Initially not all of us ordered porridge but the kitchen only left porridge and I think salt in Malaysia seems to be very expensive. The porridge that I was eating was quite bland, I forget if they feels the same, so I kinda keep adding salt to my porridge.

After breakfast, I thought we would be doing some walk around like maybe bowling or other activities. But then they say, "Chi Bao Bao, Qu Shi Shi Yun Qi leh"(Since we are full, let's go try our luck). So we head straight to the casino again. We head straight to the "3 pictures" table cause KF and Gary were quite interested in that. After sitting for awhile, I heard someone called my name. To my surprise, I saw my camp mate there. He told me he is going to check out today. Then come here and play for awhile before leaving. I heard he has been called up for ICT liao, but I still got no news at all.

Then after playing the 3 pictures, Emily and Su Heng came to join us, then we went to the dice tables. Then there was this auntie to came near me to place some bets. So I was thinking, since she make the trouble to move to my area, I should follow her bets. And I won! Haha! The odds were like 1 to 50. Linda, they all were quite shocked when they saw me take the winning. I thank the auntie on the spot for "giving" me this lucky "tip". Haha.. They were also going to check out today but still want to earn more money before leaving.

We continued to play awhile more before going to Sushi King for lunch which was around 2pm. Then on our way to lunch, we saw a bacarrat table then Gary, KF and me just placed a 50RM bet. So our lunch was sponsored by Casino De Genting. Haha... The food we ordered in Sushi King was quite slow to come. The sushi on their conveyor belt was very limited, so we had to place order with the waiter. Their tomago sushi does not have any seaweed and we were quite surprised. We thought that they had forgotten or what. Anyway, the presentation of the sushi wasn't like sushi at all. It's like egg with rice only. All their meals came with a bottle of yakult, then they were saying the straw like lousy condition then Gary couldn't poke. So we make a joke out of that on Gary. =x

After our lunch, we went back to the casino again. We went to play some casino texas, which was different from the one that we played. Most of the table were min 25 so only KF played. Then after awhile, they specially open a table of min 10 for us. So we occupied all the 6 seats. It's kinda fun since we are all aiming to win the dealer's money. But then I lost quite a bit. After winning enough of my money, which is about 10 rounds, they changed the table back to min 25 so all of leave the table.

We went back to the 3 pictures game and then Gary and I were quite noisy there. When I sit beside him, there's always a higher probability that he will win. Then when I leave, he will start to lose. The dealer was a bit blur, so there were times when she give us the wrong payouts. But we were quite honest so we told her about it. Then it was like 5 or 6 games in a row that we won by 6 points, so there's a tag to inform us that we will only win half of our bet. So we were saying we should have one custom-made and engrave our name on it.

There was this round in which I got about 5 or 6 points, but I placed on the dealer to tie with me. The odds is 1 to 8. So I was hoping the dealer to be of the same point as me, and yeah! she got the same point as me. So I was a bit loud over there. Haha... Then 2 rounds later, Su Heng tried to follow me and placed tie game with dealer, but he lost it. After while, I went to play the roulette, then I saw this uncle who changed for about 5 to 7 hundred dollar chip. Then at first I was expecting him to place on the red or black. But he placed it on numbers. So I was thinking he must be an expert or have analyse it for long, so I followed the numbers he placed on. I am glad I make the right move by following him, the ball landed on number 32 which he had placed his bets on. His winning is more than 3500RM cause he had placed on other column bets. Usually the banker would pay out stacks of colour chips which is 5 or 10 per chip, but his stack is 100. That was like OMG, I should have up my bets. I only won about 175, cause my bet was only 5RM.

As we had quite a late lunch, our dinner was also quite late, we had it at about 9+. We had KFC for dinner.

You know how people always say the ending very rush? I think it's going to happen to this entry.

2 posts ago, I was talking about my trip to Genting, now I am going to talk about it again. This time round, it's with my another group of friends. They include Gary, Kian Feng, Linda, Emily and Su Heng.

This time round was a bit rush, we waited till about 1 week before the trip then we confirm all the booking as my leave was approved quite late.

Our first stop was KL. We travelled on Grassland Coach. All of us were very excited on the bus, keep on talk cock, then suan Gary about where he want to alight. We saw someone on the coach wearing a shirt that Jon has. I wanted to take a photo of that guy and mms Jon, but too bad the guy put on his jacket and went to sleep.

While on the bus, we were playing Nintendo DS's Mario Kart and Mario Party. Initially, the bus looks like there's no movie playing on board, then when we reached Malaysia side, the monitor came down from the ceiling showing, "Quantum of Solace". All of us had watched that show before and I was wondering if that's original or pirated. But of course, taking a look at the sub-title, and the answer is obvious.

Linda bought a loaf of bread onto the bus, like we are going to "run road". Actually she's afraid that we might get hungry during the journey. When we were at the pit stop, Su Heng grabbed some noodle to eat, then Linda wanted to buy a lot of sweets, Gary rushed to get some cigarettes.

While Su Heng was eating half way, we heard the announcement saying "Coach 1991 is departing soon". Then I told Su Heng say, "when we reached KL, I ... bring you to eat nicer noodle." Then we proceed to the bus, but there's still no sign of the bus driver. We were saying did we hear the wrong car plate number or wrong announcement such as "Coach 1991 will depart in 15 mins time". So we just stand there and rot and took some photo. Emily throw some sweets for Su Heng to eat, and he's quite a good catcher.

We arrived at Berjaya Times Square at about 1:30pm. All of us "chong" to the toilet as there's only 1 pit stop thru out the journey. Then we walked our way to the bus terminal to catch our coach to Genting. The trip was supposed to be coach then transit to cable car. But the cable car is under maintenance so our trip was directly up to First World Hotel.

On the coach up to Genting, 2 aunties were quarreling over the curtain on the bus. They were quite loud and disturbed the uncles' rest. The 6 of us were like watching show, and we thought we should had video it down and put it on Stomp.

Before we entered the highway, the coach was moving very slowly, we thought it's going to be a massive jam at KL. But what we saw was very shocking. There's a riot outside the US embassy. Riot police were there, KF was afraid the rioters might push down our bus, Gary was scare that there might be some bomb around. We immediately took some photos of the riot scene. Then when I got back to SG, I saw the news mentioning that this riot is about the Israel attacking the Palestine. Ally, my Malaysian colleague told me I was very lucky to get to see such incident as it happens only once in a thousand year.

On the bus, we were looking at the scenery, then when we were not near there at all, KF said out loud, "Yao Dao Liao"(Reaching soon). I think the aunties and uncles should be asleep in the coach, if not they would be laughing at us. When we saw the sign 15km to Genting, and seeing the hotels of Genting, we all cannot believe the distance is shorter than our 24km route march distance.

We reached First World Hotel at about 4pm. As there were a lot of people checking in, so we were to grab our lunch/dinner. We had it had the "Hou Wei" restaurant. Food over there wasn't that great. Su Heng's food came only when everyone had finished eating. Gary went to sign up for his "Genting Worldcard", before we went to check in. But he did not want to register cause his hair not up to standard to take photo.

When we went back to the lobby, it's still not our turn to check-in, so we went to outdoor to take some photograph. By the time we went back, we were a bit late so we had to q up for another counter to check in. Emily and Su Heng stayed in standard view room while we stayed in standard room. The difference is they got a nice window view of the outside world, whereas our room's window were facing the room opposite us.

The room was indeed very small. The bathroom has no locked for the door and it was quite cramped. Then I have 1 friend who say must cover up the mirror, the other say must close the window, another say shoe cannot put too straight. All my friends are so super superstitious.

As Gary and I were wearing 3/4s and slippers, we had to change to jeans shoes to enter the casino. When I opened up my bag, my clothes were wet due to the water spillage from my water bottle. So I had to borrow socks from Gary and had to put my shirt at Su Heng's room to let it dry as his room has some sunlight.

So we were proceed to the casino at the resort area. We played quite a lot of game including roulette, dice, baccarat, three pictures. The most interesting is the roulette. Me and some uncle were chatting with the dealer while placing our bets. Then I told her that 29 is my birthday, asked her to get us a 29. All the uncles also placed quite a lot on 29. Then they said "Come out 29 make us all happy leh". The dealer just smiled at us. Then the ball really landed on 29. Super happy sia. Then we immediately thank the "jie jie" for making us a happy person.

After that, I went back to the dice table to find them. There were 2 aunties who keep on winning. Then the rest of them were saying the aunties have very good tactic when placing the bets. Usually on the dice table, I would only buy 1, 2, 3 cause of a special reason. It really came out a few times and I won quite a bit on that.

After that, we went to Pizza Factory for dinner. A bit lost at first, but still managed to find the location. We had Hawaiian, Curry Chicken and some other finger food. The food there wasn't bad. Actually both KF and I had it before. When taking photographs there, everyone was saying the lighting there not bad.

After dinner, we went back to the casino for a few more rounds then we head back to the hotel to bath. After bathing, we head back to the casino again. By that time, it's about 12am. The weather was very cold outside and I forget to bring my cardigan. Knowing this, they purposely suggested walking outdoor. On the way there, Emily said "I am the biggest loser today, and I will be the biggest winner tomorrow." But sad to say, the curse was somehow passed over to me. I loss quite a bit when we went back.

At about 2am, we were all tired so we head back to our hotel room. On the way back, KF, Gary and Linda bought some food from Mac and KFC for supper. As I don't like to eat before sleep, I didn't buy anything.

Linda was coughing quite badly after eating the KFC burger. But somehow the cough did not affect me and KF. Only Gary somehow couldn't manage to sleep. I think after Linda finished coughing, Gary was feeling cold and caught the flu virus. So he did not sleep very well for his first night.

In the room, I realise my clothes were wet due to the water spilled out in the morning from my water bottle. Even my socks were wet. So I need to borrow them from Gary.

Happening Weekend

During the Deepavali weekend, it was super happening for me. It's been a long time since I did so many things in 1 weekend.

On Saturday, I went for rock climbing. That's the very 1st time I tried rock climbing. Went there with Gabriel, Joanne and Rebecca. I went to the CSC (Civil Service Club) which is at Farrer Park area. I think me and Gabriel were super late, cause by the time we reached there, Joanne and Rebecca were quite tired. I managed to have 4 consecutive successful climb on my 1st attempt. But after that, my arms like no more energy, had to come down halfway thru. It's like doing more than 10 pull up at 1 go.

It is really fun but too bad my energy is limited. Hope to be able to go there again next time.

Straight after that, went to PS to meet Yixian for Max Payne. Was a bit late cause I went to collect my altered clothes at Wisma and Taka. Had dinner with him at Xin Wang after that. Found out that even Xin Wang has membership card. So weird sia...

Went to Double O to celebrate Marcus and KF's birthday after that. Perhaps too tired after the rock climbing, most of the time was spent sitting there drinking. According to KF himself, he was gone after 12. Linda complained that he wasted the Tony Roma that they had eaten earlier. =x

Last weekend, I went down to Genting again. This is like the 2nd time is less than 6 months and I have 2 more invites to go there again. Oh my god, am I like going to be some uncle who frequents there? This time round, I went there for less than 24 hours cause I am like accompanying Ben to go watch Sammi Cheng's concert. Oh ya, but I didn't watch it with him.

I went to watch Painted Skin alone at their cinema. I bought the tickets for the Osim Chair. They are on the 1st row of the cinema. Surprisingly the seats wasn't that popular. Maybe, the seats are like alone on its own, so it's kind of you watching the movie by yourself even if you are with a group of friends. But since I am alone, such seats are very suitable for me. The massage is really comfortable and the uncle beside me falls asleep. Haha.

Actually, I also wanted to sleep through the movie. But the movie seems not bad so I continued watching. Quite touching, but too bad my fav Zhou Xun is some kind of monster. The feeling of watching movie alone is really different. This is like the 4th movie that I ever watched alone. The other 3 are, 8 miles, Love Actually and Blood and Chocolate. But this is the 1st time watching it alone overseas.

Then on our way back to Singapore, we were stopped by the police who asked us if we understand malay. Then he told us we were speeding. But I not sure if we really did speed, then he told us the fine is about 300RM etc... Then end up we have to give him 50RM for his Hari Raya Celebration. After we left, Ben was saying like "Even if we give 30RM, he would have accepted it also." So i asked him, "So you expect him to give you 20RM change is it?"

I think I have some serious problem with Cathay cinema. The last time I went to the wrong cinema for What Happened in Vegas, then this time round, I bought the tickets for wrong cinema.

I wanted to buy Flowers over Boys for Downtown East, but end up I bought the tickets for Cathay Cineleisure. I don't know whether it's lucky or what, that is a midnight show so there wasn't much people behind me to know about this embarrassing incident.

Then I asked the person at the counter whether I can change, then I forget what he replied me. But he gave me the idea that I must buy another 2 tickets in order to watch, so I asked if I can use another credit card to purchase the tickets. But he told me in this case, I will have to pay twice for the tickets. Then I am like totally confused over there. Awhile later, then he pass me the new tickets and told me can swap.

Luckily the tickets can be swapped. If not, that movie will be very expensive. Then I must sit 4 person's seats. =x I wonder if the cinema is very packed , will I still be able to swap the tickets. Next time if I booked tickets for Cineleisure and I think I am gonna be late, I will just travel to Downtown East to watch. =x

Recently, everyday is raining days. What happened to the weather in Singapore? How come it started to rain everyday so early?

Although the weather is very good for sleeping, but there's renovation of lift at my block. The drilling and smashing starts at 10 and ends at 5. The only time there's no sound is during their lunchtime. The whole thing is really irritating but for the comfort of everyone, I guess we can only tolerate it. Luckily, I am starting work straight after I ORD, and the next week I am on 8 to 5 standby. So, I need not suffer that.

You know the line, "save for rainy days"? Oh my god, that has really happened to me. Currently I am super broke and I have to depend on my coins to survive. Lucky for me I have save quite a substantial amount, that I need not go broke.

Hope to start work soon and get my pay soon!

Wisdom tooth

Today I went for my 2nd extraction of my wisdom tooth. The appointment is at 11am at Alexandra Hospital. But I woke up quite late at about 930, then I still very tired cause last night slept at about 3+ like that.

My mum knows that I am going for the surgery so she asked me what I want for breakfast, then she purposely wake up earlier to go buy Big Breakfast for me. It's been a long time since I had that for breakfast, cause even if on duty order mac also order burgers only.

Then I very good at wasting time lor. I still can watch a bit of TV, read newspaper in toilet, read some blog. By the time I am ready to leave house is already 1015. Then when I reached Bedok Mrt Station I gave them a call telling I will be late, I need to change the appointment to 1130.

Then so suay when I arrive at Queenstown, the shuttle service on break. Then have to cab there. After that, I waited for till 1330 then they decide to operate on me. The waiting time can really kill me, the nurse kept calling Mr Lee XXX and Mr Lee YYY and Mr Lee ZZZ but not my name. Then I have this fear when the previous time I hurt my forehead after the surgery.

Luckily, I found something to keep myself from thinking about the pain and everything else. Then at the end of the surgery, the dentist ask me if I prefer here or JMC. Like as if I can answer her question like that. Anyway I was like pointing the ground so she get what I meant.

After that I meet up with JL cause he wants to take the movie tickets from me. Then the taxi driver go one super big round, end up I reach home at about $17+. Anyway Junliang really super fast at eating and drinking, he ate the Cai Fan in like less than 10 mins and drank the bubble tea real fast also. Please eat slower next time, it's not good for your stomach.

At 1st I told my mum, I am not going to eat till tomorrow. But end up in the evening the wound is very pain and I need to eat some food before consuming the medicine, so I had to wait for her to cook. So I have to find something to read to prevent me from keep thinking about the pain. This time round I need not wait so long to eat, cause the previous time the pain came very fast then I really no appetite.

Let's look forward to tomorrow. =)

Follow-up treatment

Last Thursday, I went back to Boon Lay for follow-up treatment on the wisdom tooth.

Dentist(D): "What's that scar?"

Guoliang(G): " I knocked onto the edge of the wall when I was about to faint."

(D): "You are the 3rd patient leh."

(D) to Assistant: Why ar? Why all my patient will faint?"

(G): "(OMG!)"

(D): "Then you still can go for the next surgery?"

(G): "(Can I say no?") "Should be can."

(D): "Go la. If not you will have to pay when you ORD."

(G): "Ok."

(D): "Did you faint because you saw blood?"

(G): "I won't faint if I see my own blood."

Anyway the whole thing took about 5 minutes only. So I travelled for about 3 hours just to see her for 5 minutes, I think my future GF will get very jealous about this. Haha...

Yesterday I went to extract my right wisdom teeth. Went all the way to Boon Lay to do it. Was alone in the train luckily got something nice to play with, if not I would have bored to death. When I reached Boon Lay, kinda lost my way although actually I have been to that place before.

The surgery was quite fast about 15 minutes. Not much pain during the surgery, but after that is really scary. The pain was quite unbearable at the pharmacy. Then while walking I could also feel the pain in my mouth.

Then when I reached home, I immediately went to nap for awhile. But when I woke up to change my gauze, I knocked onto the wall in the toilet. Blood oozed out of the wound on my forehead and everyone in the family quite panic. My mum even thought that I cut my eye.

I think the blood flow out from my body is more than the total amount I loss from primary school days till the day before.

Food tour with Twinny and Junliang

I decided to blog so "immediately" is because Twinny was grumbling that why I am so detail about my previous post. Cause got new pretty girl in my blog, that's why I must leave good memory.

Today we went to Ichiban to redeem our freebies and also to spin the wheel which we might stand a chance to win an $80 voucher. So we spent only $7 plus dollar but quite full. All the food in front of us in the picture were free, even freebies can look sumptuous! Twinny was saying free food taste especially nice. (I think she forgotten what happened in Sex is Zero 2)

Ok. Let's focus on this picture above. Twinny don't even know how to eat, look at the chawamushi on the table. Then she gave that kind of look like as if she wasn't the one who dropped on the table. I know it's free, but still we shouldn't waste food.

Then after that, Junliang came over to PS to find meet us for dinner. He was suppose to join us for the dinner at Ichiban, but he was too tired then he slept till quite late. Then he asked me is the dinner at Ichiban going to be free, if it is then he is going to cab down. I told him just take train, don't think we will wait so long. After awhile, he told me he got $20 worth of coin he don't know how to spend, so he is going to cab down!

But when he arrived, we had already left Ichiban. So he was deciding between dinner at Swensen's or Ajitei. Since Ajitei had no Q at all, so we decide to dine there. He ate some pork cutlet rice then me and Twinny had the desert. The staffs were quite slow in serving JL's desert, so we keep calling the waitress. Twinny was saying "excuse me" twice to the waitress, but she totally didn't hear anything. So I told her she was being "excused" twice.

Anyway, we were given 5 desert spoon, so we had fun taking photos with it. But JL refuse to do so, using only his chopsticks. After the dinner, we went to shop around for my leather shoes for my Monday interview. Then we went over to city hall to meet Jon, Ming Kai and Mercy.

We had chocolateS at Max Brenner @ Esplanade. Ok. Only I took photo. I ordered the Belgian waffle, then Twinny and Ming Kai ordered some Oreo chocolate drink which both of them complain very sweet. Junliang ordered some cook-your-own chocolate beverage which you will melt the chocolate to decide how sweet you want. Then the rest shared a chocolate fondue.

After awhile, Grace came over to join us. Then at the end, she and JL were asking each other to finish up the strawberry. Oh ya, and they were going to Genting or Bangkok next weekend. They were like damn happening. The trip was planned like a week ago and everyone is so on about it.
After the chocolateS, they were planning to go Cafe Del Mar which Twinny don't want to go so I accompanied her home. She was a bit lazy so we cabbed back to her house. Then when we alight from the cab, she was asking, "what if my Mum saw you?"

Then we went to the DEW GARDEN to have a short chat although it's like 11 plus. Halfway thru, the street lights went off. Then there's a couple there in the dark. Anyway the very 1st dark photo is not the couple, but some lousy camera skill of Twinny.

Past 2 weekends

I did not went to Bugis after the previous post. I meant the post where i predict I will go Bugis for the next 2 weekends. The 1st weekend I did not go is because I was having bad flu. SO that weekend I missed out the TVB stars who came down to Singapore.

So I stayed home for the whole weekend even though I was on leave which I am suppose to go out and enjoy myself.

Then the following saturday we were suppose to meet up for steamboat but Grace put me and Twinny aeroplane. So me and Twinny went to Vivocity instead. My intention of going Bugis for this weekend is because I wanted to catch Yoga Lin You Jia and Jade Liu Li Yang.

Every time when I meet Twinny at Vivocity, she would be late. So I went to find Jon and gang who were working at Vivo for some event. Then I found out Twinny's classmates were working on the same event also.

When I met up with Jon they all, I told them I was super bored at home so I decided to come down and find them. Then they were like thinking "Guoliang got so nice meh?" After awhile Twinny arrived then they found out the truth. Haha...

So we went for dinner with Twinny's classmates, Xiu Yi and Jason. Initially we wanted to go Marche but it was too crowded so we ended up at Fig and Olive, a Halal restaurant. The 3 of them were talking about their attachment, so I just sit there and listen.

Then occasionally Xiu Yi will ask, "Are you feeling sianz?" Then I will give a "I am ok" reply. She keep on saying normally she is not as "crazy" as that day, but I think that remains to be seen.

Last night, I just finish watching 华丽なる一族/ Karei Naru Ichizoku. It's been a long time since I watch a Japanese drama. I also cannot remember which is the last Jap-drama that I completed. There are a few that I just watch half way here and there which includes

萤之光/ Hotaru no Hikari, 交响情人梦/ Nodame Cantabile. Both the shows are romantic comedy whereas 华丽なる一族 is Human drama/Finance/Romance, a more serious type of drama.

Originally a novel by Yamazaki Toyoko, and later a 1974 movie, Karei naru Ichizoku depicts the conflicts within the Manpyo family, famous in Kansai's financial circles, amidst the tumultuous reorganization of the financial industry of the late 1960s.

This story was introduced to me by Junkai, one of my ex-campmate. Actually, he introduced the novel to me first. But since I am unable to get a copy of that, so I catch it on video. The lead actor of the show is Japanese heartthrob Takuya Kimura. I think he plays a major factor in why this show has very high viewership.

I would give this show a rating of 8 out of 10.

Recently is drama craze period. I am watching dramas from 3 different countries namely, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan.

HK:
I completed watching 野蠻奶奶大戰戈師奶/ Wars of in-laws II 2 weeks ago. Actually I didn't really catch the part 1 when it was shown on VV drama, just watch it occasionally when I am free. Then after watching the repeat on Channel 8, I decide to watch the part 2.

I think the part 2 seems nicer cause the lead characters are more loving and they enjoy each other's companion more than the part 1. Also part of the reason might be that, the part 2 is in the modern era. But I think the role of the mother-in-law is better in part 1. Cause in part 1, she's the bad person all the way which makes the plot more explosive. This time round, occasionally she will try to be a mediator whereas in part 1 she's always trying to sow discord between her son and her daughter-in-law.

Then now I am watching 法證先鋒 II/ Forensic Heroes II. This time round, there are new characters added into the story, and only left 1 female lead. The part 1 has quite a bit of romance involved while the part 2 has lesser but more complicated relationships. The technical part is also more interesting this time round. I have yet to complete the show because they have yet to finish translating all the episodes to chinese when I last watch.

The other show that I am following faithfully is 通天幹探/ The Ultimate Crime Fighter. This is another police drama in which a lot of Hong Kong people loves. I have yet to complete watching the show so I cannot really give my comments. But i think 黎姿/ Gigi Lai has a make breakthrough in this show as she sacrifices her usual pretty looks for some nerdy role. The rest I shall comment when I have finish watching.

3 Fridays ago was the Twins birthday. (Look carefully, Twins not Twinny) It was held at Aranda Country Club. I was there for both nights.

I reached there at late Thursday night. Actually I want to raeach earlier for MJ, but I haad to go Plaza Singapura to meet Twinny for Wu Jia Hui's cd and also to search for more ingredients for the presents.

Then I missed out on my privilege with Twinny cause she was with Grace and Peiwen and one guy which I think has a "Fu Qi Lian" with Pei Wen. But I think he is their classmate ba. After that I think they went to watch Indiana Jones 4 till very late and I went straight to the MJ ground.

When I reached there, they were having a mini BBQ session there. They were all quite sianz that they were playing "Ah Zhap" w/o money. After awhile, we decide that our hand should be itchy so we move up to play MJ.

We had 2 games going on at the same time, but another table ends at about 5 plus while mine ends at about 7 plus. Then before Jon left for breakfast, he kept asking me "Liu Dao Ji Dian?" (Stay till what time) Then I replied until morning. But he still like don't believe or cannot hear and continue to ask, so I replied him "I will be dripping till you come back" (Liu Dao Ni Hui Lai). When Linda heard that, she pointed middle finger at me for I don't know what reason although she say that was like Xia Liu.

Cheeyin came back to camp on his Phantom (A Bike's model) He parked his bike outside guardroom. Junyi went up to sit on it. Then me and Shee Kiat was looking at him sitting on the bike. So I went up and sit on it also. This is like maybe the second or third time sitting on a bike. The seats were like quite comfortable, so i asked Shee Kiat to come and sit on it also. I was saying something like: "Come, all 3 sit on the bike." Then after about 7 to 10 seconds, I feel something on my leg. So I came down the bike. Suddenly, I felt a sensation on my leg. Then I realise my leg was on the exhaust pipe for that 7 to 10 secs. Then those who were present at the scene began to laugh at me.

You must be wondering why I feel the pain when I am wearing uniform. But the thing is, I was excused uniform for the week. So I was in admin attire and my skin came into contact with the heated exhaust. And the worse thing is the bike had travel a long distance and just came to a rest.

I immediately went to the toilet to wash the burnt area. Then I went back to the rest room and continue to watch my TV. After that, Junyi came to tell me to apply toothpaste on it. So I went to do so. Then as I was walking out, Shee Kiat and Eddie asked me how was it. I say cannot wear mini skirt anymore. They give me the wtf look. Then they told me that I shouldn't put toothpaste. So I asked him what I should put, he said his sperm. Then I gave him the wtf look back.

I was thinking whether I should show the wounded area, but I think it is to gross.

On April 30 2008:

I got 2 free preview tickets to What Happen in Vegas from M1. So I invited Twinny, but she is sick so I asked Junliang, but then he has a outing with his classmate. So lastly, I asked Jon.

I told him the show starts at 7pm. Then he went to Long John Silvers to have his dinner.

After the dinner, we went up to the cinema at the 8th. Cineleisure has this sign board that only when the theatre is open, then the number will light up. But there were quite a lot people at the level as I think there is some preview for other show. So we decide to go down shop for awhile before coming back.

6:58pm:

As we were walking back, I took out the tickets and double check the details.

GL: Today wednesday right? Apr 30, 2008 right? 07:00pm right? Hall 2 right?

So we went up the escalator. Then there were people giving out voucher for free popcorn and free coke. We went to the counter to exchange for it. Then Jon was reading the terms and conditions as he will be going to Downtown East to catch Iron Man. So he was thinking like maybe later can use it over there. But the person at the counter took the voucher from his hands and pass him the popcorn and a can of coke.

7:00pm:

The light for the theatre is still not on yet, but we tried to enter. Then the person was telling us we cannot go in yet, cause the cinema still not open. So we sit down one corner to wait.

7:05pm:

Those people for the other preview show began to move into the cinema. Then we were thinking, how come no other people came to watch the same show as us. So we took out the tickets and double check again. But we still didn't spot any thing unusual. So we continue to wait.

7:10pm:

I took out the tickets and check again, this time round, I spotted out something. The cinema is at The Cathay. Then I asked Jon what time is it. Then I was like ...

7:12pm

So we went down to see if there's any other movie we can catch.

Jon: Too bad, we gian peng gian sai (Everything also take).

Jon: Why does the free popcorn doesn't taste nice?

GL: ... I think so too.

I am now watching 原来我不帅 on 56.com on another window. I think this show should name as 原来我不好看. It is not nice till I can be blogging and watching the show at the same time.Although you might be thinking that if it is not nice, then why am I still watching it.Too bad this weekend I am really boring that I am spending a lot of time at home.How I wish this was a weekend mount then I no need to feel so sianz.

Anyway, this show is very shallow and not funny, unlike the normal idol drama.Also, the cast not really exciting. Although I initially plan to watch this show is because of 曾恺玹,but after looking at her for some episode, her looks doesn't really sustain my interest.

The only plus point for this show is that 1 of the song in this show is very nice. It is 期待爱 by 林俊杰 who is the lead character in the show. But his solo version is not that nice.The one he sang with 金莎 is so much nicer. But most of the time金莎 is echoing only.

Anyway this is really a show not worth spending your time on.If you really want to catch a idol drama, I will recommend 斗牛, 要不要 which I will rate it at 4/5.

Recently, i kept hearing this song "你是我胸口永远的痛".

I 1st heard it on 超级星光大道 II last thursday when it was sang by 吴美珍. This is actually a duet song, but she sang it alone. Then she forget the lyrics! All the judges were quite disappointed with her as she is tipped to be one of the best.

Next on, I heard it last night on 周日狂热夜. This time round, it was 庾澄庆 & 范玮琪 holding the mic. Their voice like don't really suit the song.

I also heard the song on Yes93.3, cause currently is their long hu bang 25 years anniversary. Then they were playing all the old hits. The original singers were 王杰 & 叶欢. I think they really bring out the feel of the song.

Recently, I remember reading this line which I read in a comic book.

"生不逢时, 非帝皇之命"

Then I keep thinking about the meaning of this line, the first 4 words mean "Born at a wrong time" while the last 5 words mean "Not an Emperor's life"

Then I begin to wonder, so do you need to born at the correct time to be an Emperor? But there are so many people in the world born at the same moment. Or do all the Rulers of the world have the same birthday?

But I do believe that timing is very important for everything. Starting from the very moment you were born. Your horoscope forms the foundation of your character, your parent's career which depends on the economy of the society when you were born form the basic of your upbringing cause if they are rich, they will most probably spend a lot money on lessons and toys for you, but if they are poor, then most probably they will be spending very little time with you cause they are working very hard to earn a living, if not they are being retrenched and is able to spend a lot of time with you.

Then when you grow up, the decisions you made at the right timing is also very important. Just like how people say 天时地利人和, and 天时 is mention first.

So remember, timing is very important for everything, please be careful when making important decisions.

Next weekend is Kianfeng's birthday. Come to think of it, we have been good friends since sec 1.

Still remember how we used to go 85 to eat and to *** (secret) together in sec 1. Also, we went out together everyday during the December holiday and I became the 1st person to buy December's bus stamp.

Then in sec 2, just before streaming exam, we always meet up to study at Bedok interchange. However, we always end up at Funland playing CS. 

Although we were in different class during sec 3 and 4, we still have those after school soccer session and recess to gather. Occasionally, we also meet up to eat at 85(stingray and ba chor mee), 511(yao zi mian xian) or 802(frog legs!) or Fishermen village for some drinks.

Still remember there was this particular day when he and me accompany Ronnie for the whole day to find the 1m tall Winnie the Pooh for Eelin, but we didn't manage to find it. However, we got a good dinner treat from Ronnie. 

After o levels, we went to wash aeroplane together and begin our undead life. Then we resign together on the same day because I want to go Indonesia to find Junliang and I think he don't want to work alone. 

Just days before our o level results, we were discussing about our future, I still remember him saying he will go JC if his results is good enough. That's what I thought so too. But both of us ended in SP, though we were good enough to go JCs. 

And now, both of us are in FDS of different base. Still remember him complaining to me that he is the only one among our group of friends to stay in. Now I ended up doing the same shift work as him.

TVB Craze

Currently, I am watching 3.5 TVB drama. You might be wondering why there's a 0.5.There's this show call Ai Qing Quan Bao which I don't really follow, but watches it when I am free. That makes up the 0.5. The other 3 shows are, Huo Wu Huang Sha, Tu Wei Xing Dong and Luan Shi Jia Ren. 

Huo Wu Huang Sha(Dance of Passion) is currently showing on Channel 55 at 9pm. I started the show on TV, but because I am in shift site, I won't be able to catch every episode, not even the replays. So, I am watching it on DVD which I borrowed from JL. And strangely, I am the one who open the packaging. Anyway, this is like TVB show of the year for 2006.

As for Tu Wei Xing Dong(Brink of Law), i liked it because it is XIAN DAI JU, unlike the other 2 that i am watching and it stars some of my fav artise like Yang Si Qi, Mi Xue and Wu Zhuo Xi. Anyway, for this show, I am like episodes jumping. The reason is because I can't watch all the DVDs on my computer, so it's kinda weird experience. 

As for the Luan Shi Jia Ren, it's only shown on every sunday. Luckily, I am still able to catch the replays on alternate week. Junliang is really weird enough to ask me to buy the dvd of the show, which I am able to catch it on TV without fail. 

By the way this post suppose to be up I think about 2 weeks ago. =x Sorry for the slow update.

Last Saturday was my 1st weekend mounting, feeling quite demoralise as it was like a confinement week. But luckily, I had applied off to attend the commisioning parade of my fellow BMT friends. After 9 months things have changed for them, but not me. Haiz...

I booked out early as I had no more duties for the day. Planned to sit the rover to CPC, but it left while I was chatting with BK. So no choice had to walk out of the base, which will took about 20 mins. BUT luckily, someone from other sqn offered me a ride. (I won't forget how Shee Kiat and I rejected someone's offer during book in) Seeing the chasis of the car, I knew it is an EVO! It's a blessing in disguise that i missed the rover... Haha!

Had a little conversation with the driver and found out it's an Evo VIII. Wanted to ask where the driver stays, so can sit longer and maybe get a free ride home, but I know it would be stupid. Should be contented that I get to sit in it.

It's been two weeks into my new camp... Nothing good to mention about... How everyone always say things change for the better... I don't see that for now... Haiz... 

Twinny complained that i have not been updating my blog recently... Don't know who's the one who have not been there hor...   Anyway, have been staying in the camp for the past 2 weeks, so can't really blog... And nothing worth blogging about also...

But last weekend was quite happening...   Went PLAB for RSAF cohesion day in the morning, after that went home for a really good sleep, something which i have been missing for a week... Then came evening, when i meet up with mj khaki.. A new record has been set! 24 round which is equivalent to 6 games! Muahaha!!! We manage to complete that in about 12 hours...   

Actually we planned for breakfast after that... But someone mention that kf didn't ask us to play poker for the whole night... So end up breakfast session became poker session... And it lasted for about 4 hours... And you think that's the end? Haha... You are wrong!

We head down to Hougang Mall for k box session. Must be thinking we are damn energetic right? Initially, we were going for k lunch, which will allow us to sing till about 3pm, but end up we took another package that allow us to sing till 7pm.

I think everyone in the world has give me a bit of clue here and there and yet I didn't notice it. But yesterday after talking to JL, I finally found out.

I totally forget about the theory of things changed after they are exposed to light. I think maybe I am blind that's why I didn't notice it. Even when the answer was there, I didn't even bother to take a look at it. All I did was to just smoke thru. Yes, I managed to smoke thru. But after awhile, I know I must be stupid not to have make an effort to find out the truth.

I think I am really blind!!! Wah... I think my luck is on a super downslope. I think the drop is vertical. NOTHING has been going right for me since like the start of June. Ok... Finally I see a bit of light. Manage to fight back from 0-3 to 5-6 to 7-6! It's been a long time since I enjoy such feelings.

I have been spending the past 40 hours or so in camp. I was the duty RP on monday and just now we had night training so I couldn't clear my off. But luckily, most of the time I spent in the camp was sleeping.

But sleeping in camp is really different from sleeping at home. Sleeping in camp doesn't recharge your energy at all. It's like a bonus only, you can avoid all the extra duties.

For the 1st time as a duty P, I bought supper. Initially, I do not wish to do so. But one of the guard said, "Buy the carrot cake la, everyone buy then eat together very cosy" Then I agreed. When my duty ends and was about to go in, I saw everyone came out of the guardroom with a very satisfied look.

Then I went to ask the guard, "So you all decide to be cosy without me lor". Then I had to eat alone, but at least I got to eat and watch my TV show. After that, there was an extra pack of fried rice, as I was still very hungry, so I shared the pack of fried rice with another guard. While eating, we were watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion show. Then the guard kept saying, "It's very hot!". Then we were like, are you referring the fried rice or the models?! Haha

Anyway, not true because you will add 3cm back so you don't seems that short. =x

That's the same music I heard when I went into the room last night.

Yesterday, went to K Box with KF, Linda and her brother and sister-in-law. We went to the one at Hougang. I went there by 72, but the thing is I don't know where to alight, so I called up Benjamin. But Jasmine picked up the phone and told me where to alight.

Last night's K session was one of the most special one. I drank beer instead of honey lemon. That's like the first time I drank beer at Kbox. Actually Linda's bro still asked me to drink Martell. Hahaz..

I was singing along with KF without the mic, then Linda's bro passed me the mic and say "Nobody comes here and sing without the mic". That's very nice of him. After that, he even ordered sushi for us. First time again! Normally my food for K box is only the lousy food for the K Lunch. Haha.

I think all of us drank about 1 jug of Tiger beer each and were quite high. Her brother actually help us to ensure we can sing till 2am. But KF and me had MJ plans earlier on.

I found out something last night. Her bro's generation people all like to sing Ekin and Nicholas Tze 's songs. Then her sister-in-law and Linda both don't like to sing girls' song, unlike me. =x

About 2 weeks ago, I was out with Ailing and Junliang. We were like on a food tour.

We went to Marina Squre to have Kenny Roger. Anyway, the one at Suntec is close for renovation. I think it's true that Singapore can only have one branch operating at a time. Then we went to catch "Next".

All of us think the story seems so primary school composition. Why do we say so? The ending of the show is like "After I wake up, I realise it was only a dream". After the show we were all trying to be predict what's going to happen next, but no one could decide what to do next. So we cross over to Suntec, where Junliang went to eat Ben & Jerry.

We were walking around Suntec and we decide to took some pictures there. Junliang happen to saw his ex-classmates there, so he get them to take photos for us. And we were given free photos because Junliang asked for it. Haha.

As we took photos, we began to feel hungry. So we went back to Marina Square. We went to Spageddies. Took quite a lot pictures there too. I think all of us have become cam-whore, especially Junliang! He is those type who always dislike taking photo.

After the dinner, we went to Esplanade, a very memorable place. We went to the Max Brenner Chocolate Bar for Chocolate Fondue. They had 3 different types of chocolate to dip. Although Ailing was sick and Junliang was on diet, we still can't resist the temptation. During eating, our converation revolves aound the topic of Aphrodisiac. In which Junliang don't know what it means and Ailing is quite an expert in that field. Haha.

Last Friday, suddenly got the feeling of going club. Initially, Jon and I were supposed to pop-by Yan Yuan's chalet. But then, I arrived home quite late so we decided to skip the birthday party. Then we head down to Velvet Dragon(the club that replaces Club Momo), which is offering freeflow of drink from 9pm to 10.30pm. But when we arrived at about 9.20pm, the Q was so long that we decided not to enter the club.

Then we walk to Zouk from where we were. That's where I saw Kenneth, my colleague from Bates. Caught up with him awhile regarding what's happening around the company. Got some shocking updates and I really miss some of them.

Inside Zouk, there wasn't much people. So Jon and I ordered a jug of Tequilla 7-up. And as usual, Jon cannot take Tequilla. So I drank about 80% of the drink and got quite high. Waihon and gang came at about 10 plus in which they miss the cheaper price. So they hang out at the coffeeshop awhile before entering.

Then got a phone call regarding some duty matters which I was quite fed-up with. But after awhile the matter was settled.

The music inside was quite good, and I really enjoyed myself. Peharps I am still not ready to bid farewell to my clubbing life.

Yesterday was an absolute bad day. I had food poisoning for the 1st time in my life. I woke up in at about 4am to vomit, then couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. Early in the morning went to vomit again and had diarrhoea. The feeling was really bad. Visiting the toilet about 5 times in a minute! Then at about 9am, I finally feel better. However, my whole body feel very "dry" after all the visits to the toilet. So I went downstair to get myself a pack of soya bean milk, then head for Junliang's house for MJ. (Initially wanted to cancel it, but since I am the organiser and I am feeling better)

Actually was still feeling a bit terrible, but then Junliang's maid cook some porridge for me, so I had more energy. At the end of the day, I am the overall winner! Won $8 after about 8 hours. Pathetic right? But Ming Kai was worse. He won $1 only!!! That's less than 20cents per hour. After that, we head to 85 for our dinner. They ordered satay and stingray but I couldn't eat. So sad!!! It's been like don't know how many months since I last visit there then I could only eat porridge. Then somemore they kept tempting me and somemore it was their treat. But then, I resisted the temptaion and ate only my porridge. Next time shall go there again to eat again! That is after I recovered.

After the dinner, I went to the hospital alone. At the entrance counter, they measured my temperature at 38.2 degree. Then I had to wait in the fever patient waiting area which had air-con blowing at every seat. I was feeling very cold all the way since I am wearing t-shirt and shorts. How I missed my jacket! At the registration counter, the approximately waiting time was 4 hours! I reached there at about 6.30pm and I thought I had to stay there till 10.30pm. Luckily, I stayed there till about 9pm only.

Anyway, while I was there, saw a lot of familiar face. Saw Iskandar, who was my bmt friend, Shane, who was my primary school friend, Jasmine, who was my secondary school friend, and Beverly who was Jon's friend. What a coincidence!

For the past few MJ session, Linda has been asking me whether I want go Taiwan. Of course I want to go there! But then of course there is this financial issue. I was telling her how poor I am, then she tell me to save up and ask me need how long. I was thinking like maybe before I ORD ba. Afterall, that's what we planned the other time. Then she was saying, she will pray for me to win in my soccer betting. Why not pray that I strike Toto? Still can treat them go leh. Haha

Anyway, not that it's very difficult to save money for me, but if I want to travel overseas, I hope to be a king over there. As in, I will not need to worry about my expenses. Why bother to think so much when I just want to enjoy myself? So if I want to go overseas, usually I would make sure I have enough to spend like a king, but that does not mean I will anyhow spend my money.

But then again, I feel like re-visiting HK. After browsing thru the photos last night, I feel that I still have a lot of things to enjoy in HK. But then, it's so unlike me to visit a place again. Damn!

Last weekend, I just attended 2 birthday party. One is Wilson, my BMT bunkmate, and the other is Jerevin, my Secondary friend. Both of them were celebrating their 21st birthday. And I think there are a lot more to attend in the coming year.

Coincidentally, last week i also watched the movie "Happy Birthday" starring Rene Liu and Louis Koo. The storyline seems very simple yet very touching. And I think my twinny cried upon watching that movie but she seems to deny it.

I also watched "Perfume: The story of a Murderer". It's my FIRST R21 movie!!! Hahaz... I watched it with Junliang and the movie cost me about $30! You must be thinking i treat him or what right? The truth is, we took a cab there to catch the midnight show at Vivocity then cab back to 85 for supper then I cab home. So approximately $30. If you ask me if I would recommend that show to you, I wouldn't know how to answer. I can only tell you the cinematography is excellent, but the storyline seems a bit too weird.

Today is an exciting day. I only manage to secure my S.H.E concert tickets last night. Was very afraid that I might not be able to get the tix.

Meet up with the person at Kallang Mrt Station. Apparently, the tix got some problem. The tickets were wet and when the seller attempts to dry it, the ink smudge. So we went to the sistic office to get some confirmation that the tix can still be used.

Then I went home to catch the shui shi hou ming. It's quite a nice show, so my following Saturday mornings should be spend on that. Then was settling the stuffs on my com.

Left home at about 5 plus to meet up with her at city hall. Initially wanted to eat at pasta mania, but she say too crowded. Then want to eat New York New York, end up there also very crowded, so moved on to Subway. Had takeaway cause not much time left. Then I can only put the sandwich in her bag, if not the drink will spill. End up I finish the drink even before we reach Kallang.

Then we walked from Kallang MRT station to the Indoor Stadium. Both of us were complaning how long the route all the way. Then I told her about how I did not have much exercise at Tengah. Then we compared 2.4 timing. And I win her by 1 lap. Muahahaha. By the way, tonight is also the Asean Cup Semi Final 2nd leg, Singapore vs Malaysia. I told her Singapore sure win, then she gave me that kind of looks.

When we reach Indoor stadium, the Q at the gate is freaking long lor. Then, the usherer seems reluctant to let me in because of my tickets, luckily I got the authorisation letter in the afternoon to prevent all the troubles.

There's a stall inside selling some merchandise, but it's too crowded so I didn't go and see. On the way to toilet, she saw 2 of her secondary school friends.

The concert was fantastic!!! All the fans there were screaming at the top of their voice except me, cause I was kind of forbidded to scream. The atmosphere is great also. Feels so shuang. Really money well spent. The guest were Steph Sun and Fei Lun Hai. Steph sang Perfect Day, First Day and Lei Bu Liu. Then Fei Lun Hai sang Dui Ni You Gan Jue and I don't know what's the other 2 song. Ella performed "Ai Hen Jian Dan" of David Tao on the the piano, then Selina had a hot dance which she even removed her skirt left her underwear nia (But I think this is because she can't wear the skirt properly, so she might as well just take it off.) Then Hebe perform a drum piece.

The very first song, "Ai Ne" started after 2030 and the very last song "Superstar" ended slight after 2315.

After the concert walked back to the MRT station and she leads the way, cause she more familiar with the place. Then she was feeling cold, so i pass her my jacket, then she say I lazy don't even want to hold my own jacket. Then when we reach back Kallang MRT station, there's drizzling, so I ask her to wear jacket, then she very stubborn lor. Say what she is already wet.

Actually want to bring her go eat supper, but she got training the next day. So we took the train back. On the train, initially I wanted to use my phone to take photo, but then my phone low batt then cannot take. Then until Simei then we use her phone to take. Then she keep on deleting the photo cause she say she not pretty in the photo.

Then we took cab home from Tampines Interchange cause she's lazy to walk the route from 291 bus stop and I don't want her to walk in the rain. Then after that I alight with her then I walk home myself. Anyway, i have always enjoy sending her home, do ignore all the bo liao complaints

Finally, I am free to do a review on 2006.

Let's have a summary of my financial status for 2006. It's very different from what i used to experience.

Jan - Mar -------> Internship (Almost eat grass everyday and has to depend on loan to survive)

Apr - Jun -------> Freelance Account Executive (Earn a lot, enough to buy good clothing and able to enjoy life in HK like an Emperor)

Jul - Sep -------> Professional Mahjong Player (Basically is Eat, Sleep, Play MJ, but still survive well with the money earned before that)

Oct - Dec -------> SAF personnel (Life as a recruit is bloody poor, cause we enjoy ourself a lot during weekend)

January - March:

Life as a Intern is very interesting. Especially when you get to learn a lot of things and when you actually get to do what you will be doing in the future. I think I am fortunate among all the 3 interns (Azny & Cheryl) who went there. I get to involve in different kinds of portfolio. Best of all, I get to travel for free! Went to Thailand twice and almost went to Beijing (But I gave up the chance to Cheryl). When I went to Thailand, I was in bankrupt mode. Had to loan money from benefactor. Must really thank her for lending me the money especially when I told her very last min. Anyway, the first trip, I was informed at the very last minute. I had only about 7 hours to prepare only. The first trip i stayed at Thailand for less than 24 hours. I am the first Singapore friend of Chairat to stay in his new house. I also get to experience the power of SLK. The day I went over also happens to be his parents wedding anniversary. Haha... The 2nd trip was in less than a week's time. Bt this time round, I stayed longer. Although I could actually stayed longer, but I did not because I want to watch TV. =x I still remember the previous trip before I left, I send a sms to Chairat "The next time I see you, probably will be at Changi Airport."

Everyone manage to save 5 cents as my birthday falls on the 1st day of Chinese New Year, so they wished me Happy Birthday and Happy New Year on the same SMS. Haha...
Didn't do anything special since it is on Chinese New Year. This Chinese New Year I was so poor and so busy that I did not even buy any new clothings.

April - June

Life being a freelancer is different from being an Intern. I had to deal with clients directly and the responsibility is different. My workload increase a lot, but I get to learn more things. During my freelancing period, I had interns working under me. What a change! From an intern to someone managing interns. Haha... The interns were really bad. They can go *ninja* during working hours and prepares to leave before work ends. Some of them were really bad that they don't even know how to use a photocopy machine! During my freelancing period, I was in charge of one of the product by myself with some help from my bosses occasionally. I had to chase everyone all the time as the client is chasing me all the time too. But felt a sense of achievement when the promotional product came out. I had collected some of them and put it on display in my room.

14 June - 21 June

I was still in the office doing courier service on 13 June, yet to pack my stuffs, yet to change money, yet to prepare everything other then got my hair cut and dyed.
My mum was scolding for leaving everything till the very last minute. By the way, I went there without any money from myself. Got a loan from Judy(My boss), Azny and Mum. The pay had not yet arrived and I had no savings from previous month as I had used up all the money to book hotel and air tickets. I think the it was a well deserved trip for me as I had been working very hard for the past 3 months. All the late nights till 3am for the expenses of this trip. Actually, I think non of us told our parents who we are travelling with cause there's 1 girl and 2 guy in the group.

For the 1st two days, someone told Linda that she doesn't seems like she is overseas as she still uses my laptop to get online. The next fewdays all of us tried to reframe from using the internet and uses the laptop solely for storing the images we took.

For the whole trip, we uses 2 camera, 2 camera phone, 3 256mb memory card and number of photos we shoot during the trip was: 1811 photos & video = 1.25gb

The total amount of money I spent over there is about $2000 including air tix and hotel, relativly more than them as I paid the bill for the Jumbo meal which cost SGD$288. It's about the whole of my one month's pay. So it's like:

Unlimited hours of working ---> One Month's pay ---> Expenses for Hong Kong trip ---> 8 days 8 nights of Fun and Laughter

I think it's a trip that I will never forget for the whole of my life!

It's been a long time since i last blogged. The main reason is because I am currently in NS as a recruit. And most of the time I am outside, so using the time spent in front of the com is very minimum.

Currently, I am having my block leave. It started since last Tuesday, after my P.O.P. (I shall elaborate on my P.O.P and my NS life on another entry)

The first place I visit after my P.O.P is Junliang's house. I went there to play MJ. Kf, Linda, JL, MX, MK was there. Then Long Wen who did not attend the P.O.P sms-ed me to ask me go watch Flags of Our Father. When they know I was playing MJ, they commented that I am being an aunty. Diaoz...

Then Kelvin See and Long Wen came over to fetch me at JL's house. We went to Picture House to watch the show. I think I only watch the first twenty mins and the last twenty mins. I was too tired that I felt asleep during most of the show and I think the show is quite sianz. There's simply too much of narration.

I went home at around 4.30a.m then woke up at about 11a.m. The whole day was MJ day. Participants incude JL, MX, Linda. The biggest loser was Linda. I managed to recoup what I had loss the previous day. Haha... PLayed till about 10pm then meet up with Su Heng to accompany him to deal HP at Bukit Panjang..

Stayed at home for the wholeof Thursday because I was down with fever. Sir and YY called to ask me to join them outside. Jeremy also asked me to go eat steamboat at Bugis for his birthday celebration.

Went back to Tekong to "help out" on Friday despite I had not recover from the fever. Went there to find out that both Kelvin also had fever,then Jian Sheng also. Almost the whole section is down except for Meng and Vincent and Percy. Most of the time I tried to use "eye power" to help out as I was too weak. Everyone there treated us like confinists. It was like "What the hell lor". Then after the help out, went home straight to rest.

Went to OCS on Saturday. Went there not as in being posted there but went there to attend the comissioning parade. Went there with PC1, PC2, jonathon, halim, weiyen. Saw Seah over there. Went to explore the place. It is very gigantic. Heard them mention that School 2 got Roti John, then OCS got Chicken Egg Noodle. They say the nice thing about the noodle is the chicken. The noodle is actually instant noodle only.

The parade was much much different from our POP. Their drill was like "WOW" perhaps because they had 2 weeks of rehearsal. But I don't think any recruits will want to spend 2 weeks of time rehearsing for a P.O.P. More over, their military band is huge. Unlike ours, small like don't know what. Then they also don't have the stupid re-entry.

After that went over to M.O.S. But the Q was freaking long, so me and Jon did not go in. Instead, we went to play MJ at his house till morning.

2 days ago was my 1st bookout. Supposed to go ktv but was cancelled because 2 people got sore throat. So I spent my whole friday on playing MJ. Then went to watch Miami Vice after that.

I am in the same company with quite a few people that I know which includes, Chen Yang, Desmond, Khairul, Wan. And the new storeman, Yazid, happens to be my primary school friend.

I don't see the need to tolerate your fucking attitude...

Wow... Less than 10 hours to enlistment and I am still up. Not sure if I will be too excited to sleep.

Just went for my last clubbing session at Zouk before my enlistment. Phuture's RnB is indeed the best. Went with Gary, Jon, Boon Kiat, Kian Feng, Wai Hon, Adrian, Jeremy. Gary is enisting one day after me and he feeling kinda low. Whereas, Adrian, Kf, Wh and BK just had their POP.

Met up with a lot of people before visiting Tekong later. I think i missed out only 2 people. One is Bier and the other is my benefactor Anyway, didn't meet up with Bi er is because I was unable to wake up for lunch. So it's not her fault. Anyway, she promised to meet up when I booked out.

I don't think my benefactor remembers that I am enlisting later or maybe she don't even know about it. I am not really sad that I did not meet up with her, but somehow i kept thinking of her at Phuture. Maybe she has forgotten about me.
